FAQ

  • What is the difference between Coaching and IFS? How do I know which one is right for me?

In my practice, Coaching and IFS blend seamlessly, offering a holistic approach to both understanding and healing. Coaching helps us clarify what’s holding you back and identify actionable steps toward progress. However, many people find that even when they know what to do, they struggle to follow through. For example, “I want to transition out of my current career but I am terrified of the change and can’t seem to get myself to do it.” That’s where IFS comes in—it helps uncover and heal the deeper root causes of these internal blocks. By addressing these wounds, you can move forward with less efforting and willpower, allowing actions to flow naturally and authentically.

  • Where are your services available?

I am based in the PST time zone but work internationally, supporting clients from anywhere in the world as long as scheduling aligns. All sessions are held virtually, offering flexibility regardless of your location. Please note that sessions are conducted in English, so a shared understanding of the language is essential for effective communication.

  • How long are your sessions, and how often do clients typically meet with you?

Sessions are 55 minutes long. Clients typically meet on a weekly basis.

  • Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. While this means clients are responsible for the full payment of sessions, it also comes with several benefits:

Privacy:Our work remains completely confidential, without needing to share your personal information or make a diagnosis with an insurance company.

Flexibility: We’re not limited by the restrictions that insurance companies often place on session frequency, length, or type of work. We can focus entirely on what feels most meaningful and beneficial for you.

No Diagnosis Required: Insurance typically requires a mental health diagnosis for reimbursement. By working outside of insurance, there’s no need to label or pathologize your experiences unless you choose to.

  • What are your specific areas of expertise?

I’m not limited to working with specific issues. In fact, all challenges are welcome and invited here. We’ll use them as trailheads—starting points to uncover and heal the wounds influencing your life.

While I work with a wide range of concerns, I especially enjoy supporting clients with:

Relationship Issues: Relationships are one of the richest sources of insight into your most activated wounds. They often provide the easiest entry point to uncovering unconscious patterns that influence your thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Anxiety: Gently exploring its roots and creating space for calm and clarity.

Ancestral Healing: Yes, trauma can be passed down through your lineage, shaping patterns and behaviors across generations. Healing at this level is not only possible but deeply transformative. I draw on my professional training as well as my personal ancestral practices to guide and support you in addressing these inherited wounds, creating space for liberation and renewed connection within your lineage.

  • Do you offer advice during sessions?

During Coaching or IFS sessions, no—I focus on guiding you to access your own inner wisdom rather than offering direct advice. Again, most clients find their problem isn’t knowing what to do, it’s actually doing it.

Once we remove the internal blocks, most clients find the right answers emerge spontaneously.

However, for those seeking specific advice, I also offer quick consultations on the following topics:

Healthy Boundary Setting: Practical guidance on creating and maintaining boundaries that support your well-being.

General Relationship Advice: Insights and strategies to navigate relational challenges and build healthier connections.
