About Me

Hi, I’m Yasmin Habib

I’m a professionally trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner and an ICF-Certified Wayfinder Life Coach, with training from the IFS Institute and the Martha Beck Institute.

I came to this work through lived experience. I arrived in the United States as a Somali refugee, and as the eldest daughter in my family, I took on adult responsibilities early, helping us navigate a new country, language, and culture. For years, I carried the weight of being strong for everyone else. That early sense of duty shaped me in powerful ways, but it also left parts of me feeling unseen, overwhelmed, and disconnected from myself.

Eventually, I found myself searching for a deeper way to heal and reconnect with who I truly am.

That’s when I began working with Internal Family Systems. What I found was a deeply respectful and genuinely effective approach. IFS offered a clear and compassionate path forward, one that helped me release long-held patterns. Tangibly, my relationships-especially the ones that had felt impossible to navigate-suddenly began to shift. I found myself less reactive, no longer overwhelmed by old triggers, and more able to respond with clarity and compassion. I felt calmer in my body, accessed deeper states of flow, and experienced significantly less anxiety about my life overall.

As a Practitioner, my approach is collaborative, grounded, and heart-centered. I work with individuals who feel stuck in patterns or inner conflict, and together we create space for healing on your own terms so you can finally move forward.

I’m honored to walk beside you on your journey home to yourself.
